Many of us consider hiring a domestic cleaning service an extra luxury. Your time is valuable, and you could be making more money and having more fun if you weren't washing the kitchen floor. The DIY approach has lost the opportunity cost to use an economic word.
The most crucial thing you can do before your cleaning service arrives is finish washing or loading the dishwasher with dishes. Before the cleaner comes, ensure everything has a proper home, including leftovers, food boxes (such as those for bread and pasta), and food waste.
The standard modern four-bedroom home with two bathrooms will require between six and twelve hours of cleaning every week if a family of four or five is to call it home. Laundry and similar optional services are not included.
A basic cleaning service may involve dusting and vacuuming floors, wiping down bathroom and kitchen surfaces, dumping waste bins, disinfecting sinks and bathrooms, dishwashing and doing laundry (double-check during booking), and cleaning out hard-to-reach spots such as under beds.
