Before laying carpet or flooring, ensure the surface is flat and debris-free. Nails, stones, and other debris that may have been left on the floor can be easily swept up. Remove any dirt or dust from the area, and use a vacuum cleaner if necessary.
Before we install it on your carpet, our professionals will assess the surface. Flaws in the carpet are then repaired. The carpeted area is then measured and planned out, with foot traffic patterns and gap placement taken into account for optimal appearance and longevity.
Your current carpet won't need to be replaced. Unlike many competitors, we welcome the opportunity to install pre-owned carpets.
Before putting a wall-to-wall carpet without tacks, installers connect a tackles strip to the floor next to the wall. The padding or underlay is put in place. Lay out the carpet, make your markings, and then cut it, leaving a couple of extra inches for fitting. Using a knee kicker, they evenly distribute the rug throughout the floor and pull it up against the walls and door thresholds. The extra carpet was rough-cut. The rug is power-stretched over the tackle strip. The installation is finished using wall trimmers.
