Step 2: Ensure they have certifications or permits
Step 3: Ensure there is space in the electrical panel.
Step 4: Buy a Level 2 charger.
Step 5: Install the EV charger.
For an electric vehicle charger to be installed in your home, an electrician will run wires from the charger to your fuse box; therefore, an isolator switch will be required before the electrician's arrival.
It is recommended that charging stations be mounted at least 500 mm from the ground on a vertical and stable substrate like a brick wall. Therefore, they won't work with a wooden fence or anything like that.
